
HIMALAYAN SPRING TRAINING CAMP 2022
Mike's Martial Arts & Fitness Studio presents an immersive martial arts training camp in the pristine Himalayan foothills of Sattal, Uttarakhand. In true MMA Style, participants will receive focused training in Karate, Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as detailed below.

02 April:
Kolkata to Delhi by flight
Departure Delhi by bus
03 April:
Arrival Sattal Lake Camp Site
Martial Arts Training x 1 Session
04 April to 05 April:
Martial Arts Training x 6 Sessions
06 April:
Departure Campsite for sightseeing at Nainital
Drive down from Nainital to Kathgodam
Departure by train for Delhi
07 April:
Arrival Delhi
Departure Delhi by flight
Arrival Kolkata
CAMP FEES: Rs 10,500/- (excludes flight tickets to and from Kolkata)
Participants to confirm attendance by 31 January 2022. Payment of advance amount of Rs 3500/- for booking purposes.



KARATE
Through this course, Kyokushin and Shotokan Karate students have the opportunity to push their martial skills, techniques and confidence to a new level in a fun, dynamic way.
KICKBOXING
Elements of kickboxing will be covered in every session including sparring drills and combat readiness exercises.
BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is regarded as one of the most effective self defense systems in the world. Basic grappling, take downs, locks and chokes useful in any street situation will be covered during training.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
This camp welcomes parents and guardians of junior members. This region of Uttarakhand offers a number of exciting options to tourists. Excursions can be arranged for participants who are not engaged in martial arts training on their request at nominal additional costs. A few of the popular activities are listed below.
ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES
Our training camp is located overlooking Sattal Lake. Within walking distance, there are a number of adventure activities that are conducted, such as, zip-lining, kayaking, boating and water ballooning. For the more adventurous souls, there is paragliding near Naukuchiatal Lake as well!

NAINITAL AND THE 7 LAKES (SAT-TAL)
This region is rightly called the "Lake District" of India after the famed Lake District in Scotland. Sattal itself is composed of 7 lakes. Add to that Bhimtal, Nukuchiatal and Nanital all within easy driving distance. A trip to the various lakes is a must for anyone who visits here.

NATURE WALKS AND BIRDING
Nature treks can be organised for those enthusiastic of experiencing the beautiful forests of this Kumaon Region. But a note of caution, there are leopards here although they are very hard to spot and cause no harm to humans! With more than 400 species of birds, this region is a world famous birding zone with the best time to visit being April!
